There is always a time limit for a ‘good deal.’ There might be a limited supply, or a certain window of opportunity that makes you want to execute your purchase or decision faster. This post is aimed at those decisions, specifically for the several amazing sign-up offers out there now for many rewards credit cards. So, let’s dig right into some of these great deals!
US Airways
The US Airways World MasterCard isn’t a card that many think exists anymore. Yes, the airline is merging with American Airlines, and it has moved into the One World airline alliance, but the card is here to stay, at least for 2014. Why not earn some points in the meantime?
The great thing about this card is that the sign up bonus is now 40,000 miles. And, there’s no minimum spend requirement, so you’ll be receiving that on your first purchase or balance transfer. You’ll have 0% APR on balance transfers and spending for the first 15 months as well! You’ll receive 2 miles per dollar spent on US Airways purchases, and 1 point per dollar for everything else. Furthermore, you’ll be able to redeem US Airways flights for 5,000 points less than usual!

Lufthansa
“now expired”
The Lufthansa Premier Miles & More credit card is one that has earned a spot in my wallet. I love the airline, and the sign-up bonus was identical to this one when I received it a few months ago. You’ll receive 20,000 miles after your first purchase, and 30,000 miles after spending $5,000 or more in three months of account opening.
This is a lot of points, since you can get to Europe from the United States nearly with this amount of miles. Lufthansa’s level of service is top notch, and being in Star Alliance makes its transfer partners just as strong. I would highly recommend this card!
Chase Freedom
Now expired
The Chase Freedom credit card from Chase is a great ‘starter’ credit card for those in the market for their first credit card. And, now, the pot is extra sweet, since the sign up bonus of 20,000 miles (or $200 cash back) for spending $500 in three months is here.
This is a great card for those already in the Chase Ultimate Rewards family, as your cash back can become Ultimate Rewards points. 20,000 miles is almost enough for a domestic one-way flight, you know… But the cash back alone is reason enough to apply for this card. 5% cash back rotating categories can make those rewards stack up quickly!
Starwood Credit Card by American Express
This credit card has been written about on this site before, but at the 25,000 point level for a sign-up bonus. Now, you can receive 30,000 points for getting this card. You’ll receive 10,000 miles for your first purchase, and 20,000 miles for spending $5,000 in six months. These points are worth some of the most in the points and miles world, as Starwood is a transfer partner for dozens of airlines.
Citi Hilton
The Citi Hilton HHonors credit card is now offering up 60,000 miles for its new applicants, for spending $1,000 in the first four months of card membership. This is an awesome deal, as this card has no annual fee and there is also free Hilton HHonors Silver Status with this card.
Southwest Airlines
Southwest Airlines is now offering 50,000 miles for signing up for their business and personal credit cards. You’ll receive this for spending $2,000 in three months of card opening. By applying and receiving both cards, you’ll also be within 10,000 points of the Southwest Airlines Companion Pass, allowing you to bring a companion along with you for free on any flight you take for the next year on Southwest.
Conclusion
